Who am I?
I am a mother, a daughter, a sister and a wife.
I am a leader yet I am also a follower.
I am wisdom, yet I am always learning.
I have mastered many things and yet I continually grow.
I love a challenge.
I get bored easily.
Learning new things excites me.
Helping people gives me more energy and strength than I thought I could have.
I have spent the last 24 years in the corporate world, the last 14 in leadership positions. I am finishing my Master’s degree in Leadership with a focus in Leader Development. I love to teach what I have learned. I love to inspire, motivate and develop people to reach their goals.
In my life, I have survived many things. I have survived being single and being married; having no children and being a mother of two boys; being employed and being unemployed; being healthy and having cancer; feeling valued and feeling dismissed.
You have survived many things as well. You have had moments of joy and moments of despair; flashes of insight and moments of darkness; feeling on top of the world and feeling the world crash down around you.
My hope for all of us is that no matter what life throws our way we:
Find the blessing.
Embrace who we are.
Learn from the experience.
Become stronger and wiser.
Outline our priorities.
Live by our values.
Set our boundaries.
Care about others.
And never, ever lose hope.
Life is an adventure. Let’s go on this journey together.
